I am getting increasingly frustrated with people lately. I keep getting bombarded with the same shit over and over from every direction, and I just don't think I have the patience for it anymore.

So, its off to England for me!
I haven't been this excited in a long time. Then again, seeing as I love nothing more than I love England, it kind of goes without saying.
Nick: You're going to have quite the time getting me on the plane home. There might be a brawl.
If I wasn't so pumped for New Paltz I probably really wouldn't come home.
Oh, and all of you lovely people keep me here too. :) Mostly.
If you want me to bring you back summat, give word. I have an entirely empty extra suitcase in which to bring people stuff, so seriously, tell me!

RULES: Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/habits about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird habits/things as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names.
1. I have a horrible memory. I can't clearly remember anything from over a week or two ago without extreme effort.
2. I purr when I'm happy or frustrated or anything really.
3. I enjoy cheezy british tv shows with bad acting (i.e. the tribe).
4. I'm extremely meticulous to detail, but only in art.
5. I say i have migraines so that people will turn off the lights.
6. I'm always paranoid that my sheets are dirty so i end up sleeping with 2 different sets of sheets.
7. I like to read the same books over and over again.
8. I tend to start reading a new book before I'm done with the one I was already reading. This often results in me not finishing either book.
9. I make lists and reminders when I'm bored but I never remember to read them.
10. It takes me way too long to fill out these things.

So I just got back from Greyfox, this bluegrass festival that I went to with Sam, Clare and her family. It was amazing.
I never really understood the difference between Country and Bluegrass, but they're actually really different.
The people there really surprised me as well. I was expecting most of them to be rednecks, but generally that wasn't the case. The people were really diverse, but there was this feeling of comraderie, and just a really chill atomosphere. The music was awesome and really inspired. There was this one lady in particular who sang chinese bluegrass. That was pretty cool. Definately something I hadn't heard before.
The only bad thing was the abundance of creepy, guys that seemed to be drawn to us somehow. Clare's older brother had to save us from a few of the skeevier ones. But even that was funny in its way.
It was soo much fun, but I'm glad to be home. Between the sun and the dancing and what not, it was pretty exhausting. Both nights we got back to camp at around 2, and then we had this massive group of hispanic men in the tent next to us who woke up at the crack o' dawn and were just being all around obnoxious.
But yeah. |
